ABSA Bank every year invites young graduates who have necessary qualifications to apply for the learnership opportunity. Do you see yourself working within the banking sector? then this learnership opportunity could be the right platform to enhance your working skills and experience. ABSA learnership opportunity is offered to gifted candidates and these candidates will be guided by the people who have been working in the world of banking for quite sometime. This learnership opportunity usually takes a period of twelve months, those who are interested should be determined to be part this learnership program for the abovementioned period.

Successful candidates who meet all the necessary requirements will receive a monthly stipend of R5000 for the duration of the learnership.  Upon completion, candidates will also receive a level 4 NQF National Banking Certificate.

IT

Industrial engineering

  • Home Loans Officer
  • Branch Manager

CIB

  • ATM Technician
  • IT Business Analyst

PBB

  • Debt Counselor
  • Treasury Analyst

Basic Requirements

Interested candidates must include a detailed curriculum vitae and any other additional information they may feel is important to their applications. They must also copies of all necessary documents which are certified and no older than three months. All candidates must be permanently residing within South African boarders.

Most candidates will also be required to have the following:

  • Matric
  • English, read, write and speak
  • Computer literate
  • Candidates must not have a permanent employment
  • Be self-motivated and a team player
  • Candidates must not be registered with any other institute or learnership
  • Candidates must not be studying at an institute of higher learning
  • Flexibility with a commitment to learn?but must also show a willingness to work

Candidates who apply will also be checked for the following:

  • Any and all credit records
  • All criminal record
  • Any registered employees dismissal processes
  • All references with previous employers
  • Any falsification of documentation

Application process
