OUTsurance: Payroll Internship Programme 2024/2025 

OUTsurance Insurance invites all suitable candidates who have necessary qualifications to apply for the Payroll  Internships programme

The internship is a structured work-based program, affording unemployed graduates work experience in our company. The successful applicants will enter into a 12-month fixed term Internship agreement (not an employment contract) with the company and receive a stipend. 

The successful candidate must be able to function well in a diverse team. This person must be able to multitask, prioritise and be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Quality checking
  • Preparing induction packs and assist with induction
  • Checking and signing off the documents from HR and other department
  • Monitoring Payroll counter
  • Capturing of staff information
  • Update and maintain employee’s record
  • Assist with creating payroll imports
  • UIF application forms and communication
  • Ad hoc payroll duties
  • Prepare resignation packs
  • General admin duties

Qualifications

  • BA in business administration or BCom in Human Resources or Accounting or similar relevant field

Requirements

  • MS Office – Advance MS Excel (advantageous)
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Not previously part of an internship/learnership with INSETA
  • Be between the ages of 18 & 35
  • Unemployed in the last 2 months
