The group consists of Nedbank Capital, Nedbank Corporate, Nedbank Business Banking, Nedbank Retail, Nedbank Wealth, and Central management functions in support of frontline businesses (incorporating Rest of Africa). Learnerships consist of both theoretical and practical training which will be given at venues as stated by Nedbank. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the learnership which is usually 12 months.

The Information Technology Learnership Programme

This is outcomes-based learning, and the learnership is based on a legally binding contract between the learner, the employer, and the service provider.

Basic Requirements

There are certain requirements for being accepted into this learnership:

Minimum Requirements

  • Applicants must be in possession of a Matric certificate
  • All candidates must be permanently residing within SA boarders
  • Applicants must not have a bad credit rating
  • You must not have a criminal record. (If you have a criminal case pending against you, you must provide all the details when applying.)

Additional Requirements

  • Applicants must be willing to study and stay in the province in which the learnership is offered
  • Candidates must be previously disadvantaged

The ITBLP is aimed at providing full scholarships for advanced Information and Communication Technology training to previously disadvantaged matriculants and graduates with a flair for technology.
